My First Haircut

Sarah went to get her haircut trimmed the other day. She did pretty well once they gave her bubbles to play with...she was NOT going to wear the cape so we just went with it. She looks like such a big girl!

First day of school

Sarah celebrated her first day of school today! Well, Mothers Day Out that is. She was so excited to go this morning, and instead of cooperating and taking the every important "on the front step of the house first day picture" she wanted to stand on the gray, poorly lit walkway. "No Mom, here. Picture," said my little student. Ok, i took her picture where she wanted it! Oh well!

We are excited for all of your new adventures this year Sarah! You go girl!

Copy Cat

This is how Sarah wakes up from naps now. That would be my name you hear, no not "mommy" but "lesley anne".

Meet the Teacher

Sarah had meet the teacher on Thursday and LOVED being there! I hope that feeling is the same on Tuesday when it is her first day of Mothers Day Out "school"!

Free Pony Rides

Free Pony rides in the Gunnison, CO grocery store. We did this about 8 or so times.

Porter!

Sarah LOVES to play with Porter! The Ryans came over again this week for a playdate. Carrie and I just sit and giggle as we watch them chase each other, hold hands and enjoy playing with just about anything! We cut out sugar cookies with stamped cookie cutters and then let them "ice" the top. Sarah piled on the icing and quickly inhaled her cookie like someone was going to steal it, while sweet Porter preferred to "spread" the icing on the cookie and possibly his workspace with his hands. Everyone has their special way of participating!
