The third day was Super Hero Day! LA, Mom, and I made capes for the
kids the night before… and when I say we, I really mean LA worked while
Mom and I provided emotional support and ate cookies.
The kids were pumped to find their capes when they woke up and spent the
morning in their pjs, capes, and boots playing in the yard.
The ranch is the greenest I've ever seen. The flowers are so tall and happy.
We tried to get a group photo in the gorgeous flower fields but my
children wouldn't cooperate and the field was thick with horribly angry
sticker burrs.
Thanks to lots and lots of tantrums, this happened quite early in the day. Also, it was hot and we were thirsty.
Then this happened. Last year for Indian Day Ryan showed up in full
Chief regalia. This year he amped it up for Super Hero Day.
One Hundred Percent Commitment… and check out those muscles!
Its really hard to be a Super Hero.
Nanny organized a scavenger hunt on her iPad...
And the kids were off once they realized there was a surprise at the end.
We spent the rest of the day in the pool. Wyatt has come a long way…
after a somewhat traumatic experience with swim classes, he has been
hesitant to swim, but after this week at the ranch, he keeps asking to
swim in the "big pool"! Videos of him swimming on the next post.
This nugget lost her second tooth!
And wrote a special note to the tooth fairy to let her know where to find Sarah.
Thanks for planning Super Hero Day LA!
