Day Two was Wacky Water day. Part of our plan for all Camp Buschmans is
to explore the small towns around the ranch. Last year was the
fabulous Peanut in Pearsall, the peanut capital. This year was Dilley,
the Watermelon Center! Notice the "water" in watermelon and how that
played into the day? I know, LA is a genius camp counselor/activity
planner.
We celebrate our watermelon adventure at Dilley's DQ. And we were the
most annoying, unruly guests in DQ, which is saying a lot if you have
ever seen DQ's clientele.
LA and Wyatt had a lunch date because he refused to sit with the rest of us.
And Birdie had her first DQ experience… Texas Toast and a Dip Cone! It was a huge success.

That afternoon we added rocks to Pappy's rock pile and then spent the rest of the day swimming.
We then went swimming in the big pool and wore these kids out! Yay Wacky Water Day!
